Meet Dr. Amy Bansal

Dr. Amy Bansal graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics at Cornell University in Ithaca, New York. After choosing a career in medicine, she went on to pursue a medical degree at the University of Southern California. There, her academic and clinical achievements earned her Dean’s Recognition, the David Berman Pharmacology Scholarship and induction into the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society. She then completed internship and residency at Rutgers University. She later completed a fellowship in head and neck oncology and microvascular reconstruction at the University of Iowa.

Dr. Bansal has been recognized for her clinical excellence and achievements. She travelled to numerous national meetings to present her academic research and was published in peer-reviewed journals She was recognized for her commitment to teaching with a nomination for the Golden Apple Teaching award, and earned multiple awards for scoring the highest on the in-service and mock oral examinations. Dr. Bansal is board-certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery and is a member of the American Academy of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery.

In her free time, she enjoys trying new restaurants, and spending time with her husband, daughter, and dog Bruce.
