Dr. Amy Bansal<\/strong> graduated with a Bachelor\u2019s Degree in Economics at Cornell University<\/a> in Ithaca, New York. After choosing a career in medicine, she went on to pursue a medical degree at the University of Southern California<\/a>. There, her academic and clinical achievements earned her Dean\u2019s Recognition, the David Berman Pharmacology Scholarship and induction into the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society. She then completed internship and residency at Rutgers University<\/a>. She later completed a fellowship in head and neck oncology and microvascular reconstruction at the University of Iowa.<\/p>\n Dr. Bansal<\/strong> has been recognized for her clinical excellence and achievements. She travelled to numerous national meetings to present her academic research and was published in peer-reviewed journals She was recognized for her commitment to teaching with a nomination for the Golden Apple Teaching award, and earned multiple awards for scoring the highest on the in-service and mock oral examinations.
